Benjamin Semal obtained an Engineering Degree in Electronics Engineering from Polytech Montpellier in 2016 along with an MSc in Autonomous Vehicles Dynamics and Controls from Cranfield University (double-degree). In 2017, he started working as a Security Analyst at UL Transaction Security, where he performed hardware fault injection on secure processors and code review of point-of-sale devices’ firmware. In 2018, he began his PhD under the supervision of Professor Konstantinos Markantonakis. His research focuses on microarchitectural attacks for information leakage in multi-tenant environments.
