Public transport is now going into its digital transformation. In this context, we wondered how blockchain technologies can contribute to a better ticketing system, especially concerning privacy. We proposed and implemented on Ethereum both an untraceable payments framework and a smart contract ticket. The first is a privacy preserving token acquisition framework for cryptocurrencies, that is more adapted to public transport ticketing than existing coin mixers. For its part, the smart contract allows to have decentralized and anonymous transport tickets that prevent most dispute cases while preserving anonymity.
