Giuseppe Joe Ramundo is currently a student and Undergraduate Researcher at Royal Holloway University of London.

His ongoing project revolves around detecting  money-laundering on the Bitcoin Ledger. To achieve this, a thorough analysis of the blockchain is required, gathering and organizing enough data to observe how money is moved between users. The monitoring process that needs to be performed over the ledger to build a robust system might also expand in order to delineate a “macro-environment” where anonymization can be mitigated by identifying different classes and assign entities to them through transaction studies. In addition he is also interested in extending this research on multiple ledgers, in order to construct a map between multiple crypto-currencies.
